For next month I'd love a BAKED lima bean recipe. You know... just like baked beans, but with Limas. We made them 'once' when I was a kid and I'd love to make them again. I just need to know how!

Thoughts and a Quote
When I was a very little kid we had some fish and a turtle as 'pets' but I didn't really relate to them.
But in 6th grade we had classroom hamsters. I was in love with Janice and would take her home many weekends. Not only did we take them home put we put them in our desks during class (yes.. let's not think about all the issues with that.. it's a grand memory!)
When the school year ended all the hamsters went to live with families and my teacher let me have Janice. What a wonderful thing this was!
We currently have several (at least we hope it's only several) chippies living in our yard. Recently we started feeding them some peanuts (cuz my friend Sandy said they LOVE peanuts). What fun as they don't mind getting fairly close for a peanut! They remind me of my beloved Janice.
One of them will come running every time the screen door is opened, it's pretty funny to see him 'gallop' to the door.
What was your first pet? Do you still have pets?
Have 2 quotes this month!
To love abundantly is to live abundantly, and to love forever is to
live forever.
— Henry Drummond
"Sometimes
when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways it can change someone
else's life forever."
– Margaret
